In order to reserve your requested date, a 50% deposit must be made of the total amount. This reservation fee is due upon signing of contract.
You have 60 days prior to your event to be able to receive a full refund. In these uncertain times, we highly recommend that our clients purchase event insurance in case of an emergency or unforeseen situation. Our cancellation policy will be upheld.
There is a $500.00 refundable security deposit that is due with the last half of your payment. This deposit may be fully or partially used by the venue for any damages, charges that may have been overlooked, or clean up of items left behind per the contract.
Our staff will set up the basic tables and chairs prior to your event if they are owned/rented by the Chittum Venue.
We require a security officer be present at any time during an event that is serving alcohol. The client may provide their own security vendor or use the security provided by the venue. There must be one licensed security officer per one hundred (100) occupants. If the client chooses for the venue to provide a security officer, Chittum Venue will schedule a licensed security officer for $50 per hour on the weekdays and $65 per hour on the weekends.
If there is no event scheduled, we charge $150.00 for any extra hour that you may need.
Chittum Venue offers tablecloths for a rental addition fee. We also have dishware, silverware, and other items available for rental addition fees. Many of these items are included in one of our all inclusive event packages.

Chittum Venue is a privately owned, non-POA related business, whose goal is to be the premier venue of choice for all of your special events. These special events can include but are not limited to: weddings and wedding-related activities; personal, church, or business events and holiday parties; anniversary and birthday celebrations: business meetings, luncheons, and strategic planning sessions; family or class reunions; and pool parties.
With it’s classic white surroundings, the grand room and sunroom are a perfect backdrop for any bride to be able to envision her special day. Guests can also enjoy the outdoors on a beautiful evening under our string light, cedar wood pergola.
We are pleased to offer roughly 10,000 square feet of state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor venue space to meet your specific requirements. Our events coordinator will work with you to ensure no detail is overlooked. The wide array of on-site amenities allows you to develop your own schedule independently or with our Activities Director. Chittum Venue Grand Room/Sunroom provides accommodations for large or intimate size events in elegant yet flexible seating that can be tailored to your specific needs.
Chittum Venue is a caterer's delight! Our full-service kitchen includes a range and ovens, warming ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, dishwasher, utensils, a 30-foot food preparation counter, and a 30-foot food display and serving bar. Caterers love the easy access to and from the kitchen area, which is critical for their work. A fully equipped, covered outdoor kitchen with a serving bar is also available for pool-side patio events. We can also offer a professional audio-visual system, karaoke system, piano, or linked TV/DVR monitors for your event's multimedia needs.
Additional amenities include a theater room with surround sound, a library, and a billiards room. These rooms can also substitute for event preparation rooms. Chittum Venue has a "hit-the-ball" golf simulation system, chipping and putting green, a heated walk-in pool, a hot tub, and an exercise room. Your party may also want to take advantage of our on-site spa and salon with licensed hairstylists.
